Tuning company, Mallet Cars offer Pitbull Body Kit conversion for the Pontiac Solstice, finally. The model was widened 4-inches in the front and 5-inches in the rear. Actually, the kit is a 6-piece body conversion that allows the use of ultra-wide wheels and gives a menacing stance to the Solstice. The front fascia improves the engine and the increased traction of wider tires let you put more of that V8 power to the ground. The model will be built as a limited edition. GM specialists decided to create a very simple and beautiful car that everyone loves. For this, the chairman of GM, Bob Lutz started working on some sketches and by mid-October, the Pontiac Solstice roadster was under development. The program was executed in just under four months from the first sketch, to the drivable vehicle. The price will be somewhere around $20.000 and it will be very easy to build in a flexible manufacturing environment. The Solstice is powered by a rear-wheel-drive 2.2-liter DOHC supercharged EcoTec four-cylinder engine that delivers 240 horsepower with premium fuel.
